In reflecting on a letter I was writing recently, I noticed how much I have grown to love the people of San Diego and my community. I’ve noticed that I’m remembering people’s names and I’m excited to follow up with those that I’ve prayed with, wanting to know what has happened since we prayed. And I seek daily opportunities to minister to people, asking The Holy Spirit to highlight people to me
– and He does!
The transformation that has taken place is remarkable if you talk to someone that I grew up with. Most people still know my name and my face but they will say that they can’t recognize me beyond that. I was probably the most shy of all shy people that you ever met in your life and I was terrified of speaking in front of people. God has produced fruit and affirmed His direction for me in what appeared to be an unlikely setting for me previously. And He has been teaching me to be comfortable in situations that should/would be very uncomfortable to me in the natural... I know that I know that I know that only God can do this.
Break The Cycle:
Daily Devotional and Spiritual Guide through the Book of Judges
In early 2024, God put on my heart to publish a series of daily devotionals to help people connect with Him on a deeper level
Since the pandemic appointments have moved from in-person to online only giving everyone the flexibility to meet virtually anywhere
As always, I have plenty of free resources to give when I see a way for them to benefit one of my clients
Of course, anything we talk about is confidential in the same way as speaking with a therapist
Many times, I find myself working on a web development or technology related problem, and the people that I am working with are also in need of someone to talk to, someone to comfort and encourage them, help them let go of frustrations related to the problem, and be able to walk away with the confidence that everything is going to be okay. It is in these moments that I feel the most fulfilled and content with the work I do.
